ABOUT MICHIGAN

Michigan is a state of the United States located in the Great Lakes region. This state is known as the birthplace of the automotive industry. Its postal abbreviation is MI. It consists of two peninsulas and the water separating the two peninsulas is called the Mackinaw Waterway. South is the Lower Peninsula, which is the main body of the state and has a large area. The western part of the southern part of the country is connected to Indiana; the eastern part is to Ohio.
